Here is a slight change of style, sat down with a sampler and a bass guitar and this is what we came up with.

Nem,
How are you bro!
Gotta say, funky it sure is!
Great sampling, did you play bass yourself??
The main hook, the groove, everything fits. I love those vocals too!
Keep up the good work man!

Heeeey,
Always good to see a blast from the past. How have you been keeping man?
Yes, the bass is all my work.
The vocals are taken from club 69 which is the only original element left from the track.
Thanks for checking my track out and good to see you.
Will have to check out what you are up to these days.
Cheers

Lol, lots of fun listening to this track, you crack me up lol lol lol.
I just have got to say that this sub-vocal melody (inc. bass line) is spot on and work very well with this club 69 sound/vocal - just cool and funny track and I like it.

least offending thing you guys have made so far. Well that i have heard.
The kick is too prominent overpowering the bass. The slap bass needs a bit more attention as it just sounds like a one sample hit ie lazy. You could have a little more fun with it giving your track some melodic colour. The strings, too cliche for me. That offbeat hihat is just too loud. The point of the offbeat hihat was to sort of bridge the kick and snare but if you make it too loud, it stops acting as abridge and becomes a rhythmic point of importance making your track sound like oommpa circus music.
The diva acapella is too dry. This would work 15 years ago when this kinda house was made and even tho you are referencing that genre, it needs to be somewhat current or why even bother. By dry, i mean too just there you know wasn't made for the track and because you don't sort of mold it , it just doesn't fit even tho it should.
The horn stabs are in the wrong key.
Still don't get the whole tranny thing. I mean if you are members of the LGBT community and want to make a point, cool i guess but I don't care for it. I personally find that the gays or I suppose in more technical terms , fun boys, unappealing. I don't trust people that wear pants that tight. Only a robber or rapist would need that sort of wind resistance advantage. I think they were on to something with the whole leather thing but this new generation of fanny bandits are shifty to say the least.

Yeah, I would agree with this statement, some treatment on in will definitely blend it more naturally/organically to this Techno/Electro genre.
Good call L4C.

We're working on a techy version of this too with vocal chops n sh1t - in fact LFC I found that Fatboy Slim track you posted up in the production section (as being an example of outstanding groove) tobe most inspirational and hopefuly will capture a little of that in the next mix - but of course nowhere near as good.
NEM - as I said great job, captures for me the sense of fun and hot clubbing.
PS - apologies for us seemingly taking a lot of space here in the feedback section just now - don't want to clutter the place up!

Here's our other more techy take on this track
EDIT - final techy version with added ital disco arpy thang

I am willing to make the first track good. I have free time and we share the first name.

And that's the production spirit I would like to see much often on this site, well done man, this is what will get you respect and good reputation.
