if someone was to ask me what Tiesto plays right now I would not know how to describe it to them

I'm sure his laughing to but for different reasons

LOL at the comments here.

They should have just used Propellerheads - Spybreak...would have made more sense and has the edgy spy music feel. But then again anything Tiesto related goes beyond logic.

Also this sounds like a Black Eye Peas instrumental.

So instead of using the iconic theme music of their own series, they should use a 13 year old big beat track that's already been prominently featured in an iconic scene from another, extremely famous movie? That's a totally logical suggestion.

Good Lord.

I have nothing worthwhile to contribute to the topic of this thread, but by the way, regarding your review of the ASC ambient record, some guy from the label on discogs said that the CDs contain manufacturing issues, which probably explains the abrupt endings. (and apparently replacements are coming, too)

Geez, did you not have tea time today?

In that little preview posted I didn't hear anything iconic of the series, just music and yeah it was in another famous movie but this hypothetical example wasn't supposed to be taken so seriously; just like this thread. The track is completely out of touch with the movies theme and the track I stated was just an example of something much more suited to the film.

I just think it's completely wrong to criticise things as illogical when your own suggestion is terrible. And I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't actually go in the film. His remix of the POTC theme was never in the film, just a way of promoting the movie.

Yeah, I spoke to James about it on Facebook and then shortly afterwards they emailed that message out to everyone. Must be very annoying for him, though.

While we're not talking about Tiesto, I've been enjoying the new blog a lot, Jack.
