Mark has been travelling the globe as ever performing at huge club dates and events at the likes of the Tiesto ‘Club Life’ concert (Edinburgh), Black & Blue (Montreal), Pacha Lounge (Toronto), Trance Energy (NL) [his 5th appearance], Ten Years of Vandit with PVD (Ukraine), 2x Passion with Marco V and Sander van Doorn (UK), Inside Out also with Marco V (Glasgow), Godskitchen with Sander van Doorn (Poland), ‘Fiesta Pura’ with Sied van Riel at Privilege (Argentina) and he’s just been confirmed to head back over to Argentina to headline at ‘Only Trance’ at Pacha in Buenos Aires next month before jetting over to Australia for his 15th visit and also taking in Bali (Indonesia). He has also recently played at some of the world’s biggest summer and beach festivals like Dance Valley (NL), Coloursfest (UK), Luminosity (NL) and Beach Party (Poland).
Reading the above will make u release how on fire Mark Sherry is and he was our only choice to headline for this massive Boxing Day event... If you’ve been living in a shoe and haven’t heard Mark you must check out his outburst show.. Broadcast every week..http://www.marksherry.net/outburst_radio.html
On the production front Mark is currently on an unbeatable roll of success with his newly fledged exclusive 2 year contract with Spinnin Recordings (Reset). His recent singles with Sharone ‘Silent Tears’ and ‘I Will Find You’ have received massive support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Judge Jules, Ferry Corsten & Simon Patterson, and to cap it all off it it was awarded a ‘grand slam’ of top mark reviews in all main DJ publications like Mixmag (record of the month), DJ Mag, IDJ Mag and also Tillate. His next single ‘Phantasmic’ is almost ready to be released from it’s cage and with Armin, Ferry, Emery, Bolier, Patterson and W&W all supporting it at their gigs and on their podcasts it’s looking to be yet another monster release for the ‘flying’ Scotsman

Will Atkinson in his own right, continues to explode through 2011 at quite a speed. The 21 year old, originally from Orkney, now based in Glasgow began mixing records at the age of 7 and producing at 14. This year, he’s gone onto claim two number 1 spots (in two separate genres) on Beatport – The Trance chart and Psy-Trance chart. He also regularly releases music on arguably some of the biggest labels in the business: Holland’s dominant Spinnin’ label, Discover Records, Borderline Music and Paul Oakenfold’s world renown Perfecto imprint. He’s also had numerous licensee requests for CD compilations. His unofficial remix alongside good friend, Nick Callaghan, of Simon Patterson’s classic ‘F16’ turned ‘official’ having been dropped in front of hundreds and thousands at various events from Trance Energy in Holland, to Eurofest in Mexico, Beyond Wonderland in California and even Buenos Aires in Argentina! To top things off, Will played an exclusive 4 hour set in Buenos Aires, Argentina to a packed out Niceto Club. The set received excellent reviews, and Will is constantly asked about his return. This remains one of Will’s favourite experiences ever.
Will regards Judge Jules as one of the 2 reasons he got into Dance music. (The other reason, his mum..). Will struck up a relationship with Jules after his mum took him down to the local club, where he stood for 2 hours outside the backdoor waiting for Jules to finish his set. Jules found the time to sign a rare white label copy of Dj Elites remix of ‘That Fuct Camera’ and also pass on his email address. From there, Will was constantly sending him music. Jules somehow found the time to respond to every piece and at the start of 2008, Will received his first ever Radio 1 airplay - ‘Perpetual Sunrise’.
Last year, at only 19 years of age, Will made his debut appearance at the legendary Digital in Newcastle alongside his childhood hero & connoisseur, Judge Jules. The show was recorded live as part of Radio 1’s In New Music We Trust! This still remains one of Will’s most proudest moments of his career. Infact, since the start of 2008, he’s racked up over 70 Radio 1 plays from the likes of Judge Jules, Pete Tong, Kutski & Eddie Halliwell… His track ‘Cloud Surfing’ managed to rack up 6 plays in consecutive weeks. Once again this year, Will has seen airplay from A State Of Trance, Afterhours FM and of course, Radio 1!
Over the last 3 years, His productions have been showcased through some of the world’s leading dance events: Creamfields, Trance Energy, Global Gathering and Judgement Sundays and his previous releases are home to some of the world’s strongest labels in the electronic scene: Armada, Vandit, Spinnin, Maelstrom and Ultra to name a few.
Will has also developed a string of A-list fans since 2008. Dj’s like Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Simon Patterson, Judge Jules, John Askew, Eddie Halliwell, John O’Callaghan, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn, Kutski, Dave Pearce and Pete Tong have all supported his music. And, his work continues to appear on world renown mix compilations: Gatecrasher Classics, Judgement Sundays, Dave Pearce’s Trance Anthems and more recently, John Askew’s “Skylab” mix CD and made 2 appearances on John O’Callaghan’s 2011 Subculture CD.
As if holding down his own career as a producer wasn’t manic enough, Will is also heavily involved behind the scenes, co-writing and producing for a handful of up and coming artists in scene. He’s been responsible for over five separate Number 1’s this year alone as far as the engineering goes, and has succesfully had his clients signed to labels such as Night Vision & Perfecto. Here’s what some of the big guns say about him:
Anne Savage:- “Future legend in the making.”
Armin van Buuren: “Another massive track from Will Atkinson!”
Dave Pearce: “He has managed to create an energetic tech-trance sound, fuelled with flavour of rave and euphoric trance moments. His tracks are a regular feature in my sets.”
Judge Jules : “I probably play more of his productions than any other producer.”
Simon Patterson: “Going to be massive.”
John Askew: “Genious!”
And, his work continues to appear on world renown mix compilations: Gatecrasher Classics, Judgement
Sundays, Dave Pearce’s Trance Anthems and more recently, John Askew’s “Skylab” mix CD and made 2 appearances on John O’Callaghan’s 2011 Subculture CD.
At only 21 years old, Will has achieved things only some producers can only dream of…
