my friend recently released a font thats similar, but not as stylized, you can probably just do those extenders in PS

thanks avana. had a slight feeling it was custom work. i like your friends work by the way, quite nice. unfortunately the knewave bit is a tad too "clean" for what i'm looking for (maybe it's a bit of laziness on my part). however, i did snag the ostrich sans and raleway.

may i ask: do you know of any art that relates to an 80's theme of sorts? (nu-age and retro). trying to establish an "inspirational" portfolio of sorts for an in progress music project that revolves around a "nu" italo-disco bit.

if you have the time to share some, please do. in this thread, PM, etc.

what do you mean by nu age? new wave? or like authentic 80s witchy stuff? or like contemporary hipstery faux-new age redux? (lasery/fantasy/triangle ) are you looking more for darker moods or lighter moods?

probably my biggest 80s inspirations are album covers and fashion photography from those scenes, but that's because im an 80s music freak. capital 'a' art and architecture was somewhat lacking at that time, imo.

i'd say tumblrs are going to be your best bet.

here are a few inspirations of mine:

wonderful. exact dispensary of art i was looking for.

thank you

and i was unclear about the nu-age thing. i'm enjoying some of the art many (revival italo/80's) musicians/artists today create. mixing this technological type of color scheme and shine with the vintage italo disco album covers. just feeding off of the old. some is rather flamboyant, some are fantastic in their own sense
nefardec
cool, yeah if i were you i'd just follow the sources of the stuff in those tumblrs

nefardec
ps, check out this dj, one of the contributors to sqwelsch
