Hey guys, I'm a guitarist who recently started listening to electronic music. Most of the music I've written are actually songs I've written that wouldn't work with the style of music my band plays lol. So long story short I started for the creative freedom, and for the simple joy of creating music. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
"Untitled" and "Joust" are the main songs I've been working on.

Hey Fry,
I posted some of my suggestions to Joust on SoundCloud. I don't have time to look at Untitled right now, but I'll try and get to it sometime.
Overall, I like some of what I hear a lot...there are some other elements that I'd like to adjust.
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

Thanks for listening and for taking the time to let me know what you thought. You were very helpful and gave a lot of good information! |

I don't have any feedback for you, in part because it sounds like you're working on developing a sound of your own. That's in its infancy but it shows some real potential. Worth following you on sound-cloud to hear what develops. If you have some specific direction you want to go, I might be able to tailor criticism for that but I don't know that you necessarily need any criticism from me, right now.
Your music also reminds me of this guy's: http://soundcloud.com/owsey |

Thanks, and I agree, I'm more or less just trying to find my own sound right now. The Untitled track I have up is the direction I want to take, interesting melodies and an upbeat feel. |

Well, you got the rarely-left timed comment from me, on sound-cloud. I'm still recommending Owsey but this reminded me of Blipp, who posts over on Cakewalk's Song Forum:

Love the neat & tidy keyboarding work on that untitled one. Very much music for the sake of music rather than purposing it for some venue, but it's well done. |

Thanks for taking the time to listen. I took a listen to Owsey and Blipp, liked them both quite a bit. |

I thought Joust was really good. I seriously got lost in the intro, very deep. I agree with the comments though, the drums sound a bit 'weak', but overall really enjoyable. |

Thanks for listening! Glad you enjoyed it, and I agree, I'm working on getting a better sound out of the drums. |

I'm with Eddie.. Sounds like your trying to develop your sound.. I skimmed through all your tracks just to see.. but Joust sounds spot on for what you should be going for.. I'd focus on that.. |

Thanks for listening, there are actually a lot things I'm working on with Joust based on feedback. I'm also going to work on the mixes a little and post a new version soon. |

Going to post a new version of joust in about a day or so also, a lot happier with the new version. |
