(and still loads of fun with My SSL G series, SSL alpha's and API-2500 while at it)
Think this is the max I can afford on monitors ($5.200 / 3.800 euro)
But hey, your masters deserve it

you have them positioned wrong for one, and then on a desk .....
i mean it is like driving a ferrari with like no rims.
Horizontal placement is poor for several reasons. Having them on a object that will absorb vibrations as well. Slap yourself. |

One other thing:
Recoil Stabilizers
You can't mount those puppies on wood and expect full low end performance. |

ThnX RANN, got Sorbothane absorbers, which work like a charm
very thin, but the stuff is wicked, so speakers are not coupled and work resonance free |
