Spike Witney - Following the Gossamer Thread

"Dream... how I dream to feel.
Dream... how I dream to feel,
And everything will fill with light.
A golden sun would fool this night
And all that is and ever was.
Begin again. Begin again.
To feel, finally for real."
A follow up to my previous mix - Growing Cold Together; Following the Gossamer Thread is very much of a similar vein. Expect introspective dream scapes fused with dreamy pop melodies and wistful vocals. Dream away...

You will play it while cutting open the Christmas turkey? That'll be surreal. Better than Nat King Cole I guess.
Thanks for taking the time to listen, glad you liked it. |

Quite interesting, this was so ethereal and dreamy, to the point of being almost overwhelming. I had to take a break halfway through because of all the vocals and pads :p
Nice set though. |

I know what you mean, it can get pretty full-on and demanding (in terms of attention), especially after listening to instrumental music most of my life which is less forthcoming in its delivery.
Cheers for the feedback. |
