People have been eating meat for over the past 2000 years, I don't think its going to change anytime soon. Some reason vegetarians feel the need to tell us what we are eating and how we got it, I think we know.

How do you think we are here? 3000 years ago do you think men had fields of crops, properly irrigated, perfect growth environments, and were willing to walk thousands of miles so they could find good land to grow? Hell no. Why would they, when food is right inside the woods. Its about survival.

There are locations in the world, were crops, irrigation, etc. cannot take place. Are we supposed to ship their only food source, which would be crops, to these people, simply because they choose not to eat meat? I mean come on.....Thats completely illogical, and a waste of valuable resources.

Sorry veggie heads, but the world being completely vegetarian will never happen, its not economical, nor logical. If the human race is not going to eat meat, nature will, just like nature does everyday. Either way, the loss of animals for food is inevitable, whether it be for humans or animals, and has been taking place since the beginning of time.

to sum it all up
it reads: god didn't put me on top of the food chain for nothing beyaaaatch!!

I think the old simpsons picture said it best...

DON'T EAT BEEF..........

EAT DEER :D
Meat is my main staple to my diet, I'm allergic to fish pastas rice & stuff so I have to eat something that's gonna provide a tasty and filling meal, and as a rule its meat. Don't think that the cute lil kitty wouldn't eat u if it didn't have chance, it would and your family.

Everything has a food chain

the butterfly eats the grass
the puppy eats the butterfly
the owner eats the puppy, bad boy..

The Fish eats the plankton
the bigger fish eat the fish
the even bigger fish eats that fish
the Human eats the biggest of big fish

so as u see, everything is eaten by humans :D

Well i think that woteva you think is fine.

I personally love all kinda of meat. If you look at life if we didnt eat meet we wouldnt be hear

If you beleive in evolution u would know that if wer didnt eat meet we wouldnt have been able to servive, it is only know with our knowledge of food that we can survive on meat really.

But some people cant eat meat as they think it is crule, woteva, and that is fine. My dad doesnt eat me as he doesnt like it, hehe.

We all have our own opinions, but i believe if i was a vegitarian i would be very very thin, coz i eat a hell of a lot of meat, coz i like the taste, and it is good for you

And as ian says, it happens in every food chain, from the cow eating the grass, to use eating the cow. It is a fact of life. Why argue, hehe

But nobody forced me to eat meet, so if u dont want to, thats fine :)

I think that I forgot to add something Fly did, I'm not saying its wrong not to eat meat, but an awful lot of us do, as part of our diets and sometimes its cos without it, we wouldn't eat nething thats good for us, so I dont want u to think that I'm against Vegetarianism, but at least u know ur meats come from the cow or whatever ;)
