Silk Road Seized, Operator Busted!
You would think a guy named Ulbricht would know how to build walls around his illegal drug empire being that he may very well be related to, Walter Ulbricht, the guy who built the Berlin Wall. But alas, he didn't and now we can't have our drugs. The FBI, the biggest organized crime syndacite, arrested, Ross Ulbricht, a brilliant engineer and Penn. Univ. Grad school graduate and high level internet drug trafficker for drug trafficking, hacking, money laundering and something else that I can't remember.
Apparently the Heisenburg wannabe payed mucho bit-coinos to have what he called a liability removed permanently from this earth. The physics graduate paid up-front with the promise the hit would be carried out. SMH. If I have learned anything from the movies, you always pay half now and the other half when its done. That's criminal 101.
The person for who he hired the hit threatened to out a bunch of Silk Roads users. Anyway, the hit was never carried out.
The feds know whats up and the jig is up. They had been spying on him for sometime. Which brings me to my final point, how exactly did he think he was going to get away with this? You just can't make 80 million dollars in 2 years and think everything will be fine. Some people just never know when to give up the greed.

As a user, I was so ahead of this . People still don't even know about it.
Bitcoin, at its highest price, jumped to more than a G per last year.

Well, you still could. The deep web is so weird... I feel like I understand from a theoretical standpoint, but obviously to actually be on it is something different. Did you use that TOR browser to navigate??
Also, I didn't know anything about bitcoins, and it's crazy how volatile that is!!!! |
