Doing my bday jam today at Joel Mull today but apparently it might be too busy come midnight and we might still be elsewhere at that point. Might head to Footy or Guv as a backup plan, but what do you guys think and where are you guys jamming it up? I think there might be only max 5 ppl from crew who might come with me as they're not big electronica fans which may be okay since it's easier for everyone to get in whereever we go LOL. I really like how Gallery looks tbh.

This party was off the hook.

Jad warmed up the room nicely playing some eclectic soundscapy techno/prog. Nature of music played a solid opening set. Jamie Kidd delivered as he always does.

Mull started off a little slow, with a couple strung out tracks, but soon got momentum and tore up the floor with some dark thumping techno with some stabs that sent chills down my spine. I havent danced that hard since eclipse last year. First time partying completely sober in awhile too. I left around 3 and drove home, as today had to be productive.

The venue is cool, being a loft and all. House party vibe, big club sound. Crowd was decent. The usual cherry beach sorta crowd. A couple out of place 'mainstream/TIL/bottle service' types were extremely pissed that the coat check was full, and clearly didnt understand the concept of the event.

All in all, a great event though.

I went to see kaiserdisco, like their , but by the time we got there as was said the lineup was rediculous. I was really upset cause the music coming from the inside sounded really sick. Quick search on my phone found an alternative party - joel mull. Went to that was pretty disappointing. It was a sweaty smelly space (the patio was nice though), tons of sketchies all around and the dj was pretty boring. Like he wasn't absolutely terrible but kinda generic and too much "techno" with no substance and no groove.

Gallery was a HUGE letdown.

I love it how they go through the process of making a flyer, sending invites, putting people on comp list, only to close the doors ALL night. Here's the absolute biggest kick in the nuts, even though the doors to Gallery were closed, I was sitting in Tanja listening to Jay Force spin for at least 20 minutes!

Why would they play to an empty room, I'm so confused..
