| If you're thinking about taking advantage of this sale, I highly recommend checking out the Spaces convolution reverb. |

the one thing I hate about space and well all East West products is how everything is so closed. You can't use your own impulses, and you are restricted to the uses they thought you might use it for which is always a let down. Their whole play sampler is just brutal.
Space sounds great but it just isn't how do you say open to the user to really fine tune things. |

That's a good point, but in the case of Spaces, I actually like how simple and straightforward the whole paradigm is, even though it is a closed architecture. I generally don't like, and rarely use, convolution reverbs because it usually takes too much fussing to get a decent sound out of them, but Spaces just sounds incredible with very little effort.
The one thing I don't like about it, is that it doesn't have a wet/dry lock (i.e., every preset has some of the dry signal mixed in and you have to manually turn the dry signal down each time you call up a new preset if you are using it as a send effect). I understand why they didn't include one (it's intended to be used as an insert, rather than a send effect), but I think it would be much more usable if they would offer a global wet lock, or dry signal bypass. |

That does look tasty, but to me it is just too much to give for "just" a reverb right now.
I was looking at buying the Symphonic Orchestra Gold, and RA with it. But just maybe, these samples are amazing, still, 500$ is 500$.. I'm not very good with money lately, it loves to evade me :p |
