| Regarding ISPs telling the government about what we download to open up lawsuits against people who pirate music/games/movies etc via torrent sites? |

| Well this I'm asking because a buddy of mine was saying that the feds up here ARE pulling a fast one. He said in the next few days... But I can't find it anywhere in the news. :conf: |

I don't remember the last time I ever used a torrent to download something. This should be interesting.
The movie distributors need to wake up and start streaming new movies that are in the cinema, to homes. Why the hell should I move, when I can be comfortable at home and use my own popcorn machine. charge me $50 per movie to watch at home, I will for sure pay that. |

Thanks man.
I'm still wondering why this hasn't made the main news though.

That's because it has been discussed many times in parliament, and in the news. It is 'old news'. Not to say I support it, but it isn't new.
Well that, and the fact that the Conservatives have a majority, so anything they want to push through, will be pushed through. The large Omnibus bill was pushed through yesterday, even though every other non-conservative MP was against it, and so was the majority of the country.
People voted for the conservatives, and then turned off their brains. |
