Fresh from the success of their debut Dusky album "Stick By This", Alfie Granger-Howell and Nick Harriman return to the more progressive sounds of their Solarity moniker.
Caught between tech-house grooviness and progressive uplift, "Tiny Black Circles" is an epic affair - and is already a favourite of French techno legend Laurent Garnier. Awash with 808 grooves and swirling synths, the track comes alive with hypnotic retro-house piano loops and spaced out vocal samples.
A more chugging groover, "Longwayupdown" grinds away with a mechanistic funk before trippy bleep melodies and washing pads add the sort of emotive musicality that the Solarity boys are known for.
