ERRATIC 04: presenting CELL INJECTION (Drumcell + Audio Injection)
4 HOUR SET

On Friday, December 9th, Erratic is extremely proud to present the NYC debut of talented American duo Drumcell + Audio Injection (aka Cell Injection), premiere members of the DROID crew, who are at the forefront of the Los Angeles Techno scene.
Moe Espinosa (DRUMCELL) has been in the game for over 10 years and can be summarized by having “a gifted sense of technological intuition”, always pushing the envelope in regards to the technical aspect of sound creation and hardware setup. In 2003 he founded DROID Recordings as an outlet to output proper, quality Techno aside from cofounding DROID Behavior in partnership with the Raiz brothers, also part of the DROID crew. This latter project specializes in delivering uncompromising, top-notch AV underground events across LA and in surfacing underrepresented talent within the genre.
David Flores (AUDIO INJECTION) is another technological wiz who was introduced to DJing at the age of 15 and started playing local underground parties allowing him to gain more and more visibility within the scene. This year he established his side project, Truncate, bringing to life the darker, deeper side of him, characterizing his diverse range of sound and style. And last year, himself and Moe got the chance to play for the first time at Berghain in Berlin (the Mecca for modern Techno), allowing both of these talented artists to showcase their skills and versatility on a stage where only the best of the best have been granted access.
So for this night we are very proud to present these two artists as one, collaborative act, CELL INJECTION, for a special 4-HOUR extended hybrid set (part DJ, part LIVE) featuring lots of pounding, mind-bending Techno. Come ready to experience this full-on as this will be their 1st time playing together in NYC, and our last party for the year!

I think the guys running it feel the same way. They're supposed to be relocating to National Underground, next month.:cool: |

Good! Don't get me wrong, I love going to pay Zarko and Lance a visit often, but bigger names don't fit the space, unless it's on a weeknight (like Selway vs Rohr, who I prefer seeing @ Stay).
Also, please consider giving out travel-size deodorants @ the door for the smellies that seem to not shower :nervous: |
