(New York, NY – Dec. 8th, 2011) - Genre-defining, boundary-pushing
electronic juggernaut Swedish House Mafia have announced their
official after party following their landmark ‘One Night Stand’
performance at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden on
Friday, Dec. 16th, 2011.
Tickets for the Swedish House Mafia at Roseland Ballroom go on sale
this Friday, December 9th at 10AM EST at www.livenation.com,
www.ticketmaster.com, charge by phone at 800.745.3000, and at select
Ticketmaster locations.There is a 2 ticket limit per household. All
tickets will be available at will call only on the night of the event
beginning at 11PM. Entry to the venue is immediately required; no
tickets shall be distributed prior to the event.
The milestone Madison Square Garden event will see Swedish House
Mafia - Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso - make history by
becoming the first dance act to headline the iconic venue, as well as
recognition as one of the fastest sellouts at Madison Square Garden
this year.
These highly anticipated New York City performances will be the
capstone to a phenomenal year for the Swedes, in which they attained
two #1 Billboard dance hits (for ‘Save The World’ and ‘Miami 2
Ibiza’ feat. Tinie Tempah), a Grammy nomination for Best Dance
Recording, and headlined massive events at Electric Daisy Carnival Las
Vegas and Miami Music Week.
Swedish House Mafia will also be releasing their new single
‘Antidote’ on 12/16/11. The track is a collaboration with Knife
Party (side project for two members of Pendulum, Rob Swire and Gareth
McGrillen) and treads a much darker path than the Swede’s usual
productions and comes with a massive dubstep-esque warbling
bottom-end.
