15 years ago today.... Sat. Dec 7, 1996

I threw my first warehouse party.... FRISKY? Such an awesome learning experience where I almost cancelled it very last minute. Literally! It was 8pm, we were all at my aunts house trying to find a warehouse very last minute. We had the system loaded on a truck parked in the driveway.

Back then no one had cell phones, we all had pagers. My aunt's phone was going nuts from people replying back to our texts. lol

At the time, flyers didn't have a location. You had to call a voice mail hours before the event to get directions to a Map Point. There, someone would give you a piece of paper with directions to the party.

BTW, FRISKY? became an annual party lasting until 2004.

Awww I miss those days.

ummm not that i know of...i went to a few WAY back in the days....but i was in Socal pretty often 2000-2003 or so.....and Madison had a hell of a scene....for a small city back in the early 2000's....biggest show i saw around here was headlined by Sandra Collins and Frankie Bones....about 7000 in 2002 i believe.......about 5000 for Rabbit in the Moon.....until the drug overdoses and got to be too much and the county wouldnt allow them anymore

you know what... i know everyone loved that movie but I personally was not a huge fan of it. I enjoyed the promoters perspective n all but all the other stuff just didn't really fit in for me.

edit* i personally enjoyed Stark Raving Mad. That movie was AWESOME!!

Are you comparing Stark Raving Mad and Groove because of Digweed? They're completely different movies lol

not b/c of Digweed. B/C of the party scenes. The overall feel of the movie.

Groove was okay. But i just never experienced a lot of the stuff. Sorry :(
