Hey guys! When this party was created some years ago, I don't think we expected that it would cause this kind of controversy. Basically, I think that this thread has been taken a little far and a LOT out of context.
Concerning our musical selections, we cater to a distinct crowd of students as this is a student organized party...it has been like this since the beginning and we won't change this. If you're not a fan of our parties the simple thing would be not to attend and choose a party that better suits your musical taste.
We received an excellent response from the crowd for all of our DJs and we are quite proud of their mixing abilities, Soundprank included. The night was very successful and the Chocolate Party won't be going anywhere anytime soon. The fact is, all of the DJs that played that night were specifically sought out but our group for this gig so please keep your negative comments at bay.
One last thing, we don't appreciate MickeyMike's comments about one of our event hosts. They were very rude and there should be no discussion about any of our organizers in the manner in which you have done so as you do not know any of us personally.
Anyway, we should be here to share positivity and not cut others down particularly our staff members who work hard to put on our events. I hope this can be the last on this topic because it's not productive in any respect. |

This is the first time that we've ever posted on this forum and only did so because we heard about the negative remarks made by some people on here concerning our party, musical guests and fellow organizers. We hoped to write a short message in an attempt to kill the negativity, however it seems like people don't really know when to stop and continue to make some strange allegations about us and other users. We don't need 'bad press' concerning our party and I'm sure that you guys can understand that as party-goers. Please refrain from making assumptions about us, particularly since you do so quite cowardly behind anonymous posts. We just want to have fun and throw good parties and while we welcome positive feedback, we're not here to be bashed. Thanks. |

If you think you can join a longstanding internet community and in your self-admitted first posts attempt to dictate to others what they should or should not say about your events, you're:
A) Already generating 'bad press' toward your nights.
B) Way too insecure about what you're doing to have a hope of any sort of longevity.
The best in any field will steel themselves to be impervious to the negative criticisms of others, ignoring baseless jabs while garnering wisdom from that which they construe as being constructive. You and your little posse, however, seem to be quite adept at getting your collective panties in a bunch over a handful of 'net pundits who obviously take all of this far less seriously than you do. Lighten up, buttercup - you're kicking yourself squarely in the arse with repeated demands for respect. Last I heard, it has to be earned.
