Ermmmm i hav just been, but sorry didnt c any big clubs, there was a couple of small 1's in the resort called Bugibba up north of malta
there is a big square in the middle with lots of pubs playin trance, so i would try there!!:)
GoZO
I been there like 10 times

Malta consists of three primary islands. Malta, itself, is the biggest at 17 by 17 miles long. Gozo is 7 miles by 9 miles long. Comino is tiny with only a few farmers and only one hotel. The main island of Malta has a population of about 381,000. Gozo has another 23,000 or so and Comino has just a handful of folks.

Clubs in Gozo to check out

La Grotta - Is claimed to be one of the top 10 clubs in the Mediterranean. La grotta has 2 clubs: Main Dance floor is open air and the other is the Tunnel a natural cave.

KU-Club - Is a 2 level building mainstream and house/progressive room. That holds about 2000 people.

Malta Clubs
When you are in Malta the clubs are reall concentrated in the Paceville/St Julians area.

Salty Dog Pub - is a very popular bar with the 25-35 year old crowd, mostly locals dancing to mainstream chart music

Axis Discotheque - is Malta's largest discotheque and is mostly popular with the teenage and under 25 year olds.
Havana like many clubs in this area is mostly popular with the under 25 crowd dancing to hip hop, reggae and soul.

Empire - is a large club close to Axis playing party music and popular with the teenage and under 25 year olds.

Footloose Bar - is a large pub with many facilities such as an amusement arcade, pool tables etc. The crowd here is quite varied although it is also very popular with students of different nationalities. The music played here is mainstream chart music.

Bugibba another city is also colourful and lively at night although it is probably more geared for the british tourist with many british style pubs. There are also many bars and cafes where one can sit outside and have a glass of one of the many local wines or locally brewed beers.
The trendiest club at the moment in Bugibba is the Amazonia club which is right by the water's edge, right opposite the Oracle Casino on the main promenade.

Also very popular is Fuego, the salsa bar/club similar to the one in Paceville bearing the same name.

There is also another club in Jampula that is really good. Although I forgot the name.

Hope this helps.
