| The Galaxy has been completely remodeled. Everything was ripped out and replaced. Looking forward to checking out the new venue. |

sounds like the promoters are like any other cheese-d*** hollywood promoter
they probably think they can handle an electronic show and overextended themselves
thanks god Insomniac has something proper to offer or we would we stuck with some lame ass OC party
we should stick to supporting those that support the scene not just some lame jump on the band wagon wanabee promoters |

Actually, you're 100% wrong. I can guarantee you the promoter running the show is no rookie to the EDM scene. As a matter of fact, he is one of the few people who's been throwing EDM parties longer than most, way before EDM was mainstream. He's no bandwagon jumper. Many TA's have been to his shows without realizing it. And no, I'm not talking about Eventvibe, which they're not rookies either. Also, did you forget Insomniac's party is in OC too? |

Wow! So much bitterness. Did someone hurt your feelings?
Wanabee promoters? What makes you assume that? What factors (besides the venue change) would leave you with the impression that these guys are somehow rookies or jumped on the bandwagon?
Eventvibe has been in the game a long time. Identity owns Sutra and Ten nightclub, and has put on quality one-off events for several years (last year's NYE with Dirty South for example).
Like I said before, I'm just stoked there are 2 local options to choose from. For those that prefer something less mainstream - there is always Digweed at Avalon. |

Last year's Phazing NYE in OC was a Giant/Sutra/Social Group event. Not just Identity.
There's also four options.
White Wonderland
Benny Benassi at The Yost
Drop NYE
XL NYE |
