I don't understand this kind of thing. It just sounds dreadful to me.

No, this is.

par for the course, especially considering who made this. that being said, dance music is really in a bad place.
/me having good taste.
it's really bad because the samples are obvious. kind of sad to be honest, your parents listened to the same stuff and so on.

What is crazy, this guy practically came out of nowhere and he's now what the #6 dj in the world and he's just 23
All we can hope for that more and more people who like this , finally start listening to real good edm or leave the scene all together.

My theory is : - Most people that listen to radio like virgin and hits fm don't like music, they just like sounds. They like drop, cheezy remembering vocals that make them jiggle and what-not. But they lack comprehension of music, the art behind, the meaning, the subtleties.
That comes with time and effort IMO. I hated HOUSE music @ first. But by listening to it, trying to understand the purpose of a set, of a track gave me a much better appreciation of EDM. Now it's just a treat to listen because I know djs, and their styles, their intensity, their purpose and so forth.
Music requires effort and dedication to properly appreciate imo.
