I use Ableton Live 8 and im wondering how i can sample certain sounds from loops or tracks and use them and play myself?
I can only find tutorials on how to do this with drums but not with other sounds like pads or plucks.
I would really appreciate if anyone knows a good tutorial or could explain step by step on how to do this.
Thanks! :) |

Find a part where only the pads are playing. Cut it out the biggest possible part, make it loop seamlessly. Done. :)
All sampling is is cutting out the right parts and using it, the magic lies in how you implement the samples in your own song, not so much the sampling itself. |
