would of use sends rather than the output giving you the opportunity to have a dry copy.
Also would of used a filter and a single band compressor each rather than a multipressor on each. I also am pretty sure using the output rather than sends forces all the processing to one core. |

I find the multiband easier to just solo each band. I mainly use this approach when resampling basslines and then splitting the frequencies to apply processing to the different bands. Million ways to skin the cat.
Edit: Just noticed your update. I'm not sure if all the processing is applied to a single core. |

to be honest, there are weird rules. Doing certain kinds of bussing will force it all to one core while others not. I think the latest update fixed this particular 1 core issue but even if you set up like a feedback loop. that will be forced to one core.
I suppose you can always just send it to another AUX and have that dry, Just a workflow habit when I think about it more.
I do think the design of the multipressor will still have the added phase distortion even if you have just 1 band solo'd or 3 bypassed. Something to think about when dealing with bass. |

Ah I see. Learn something new everyday, I wasn't aware of that. Just having a look on Google now. |
