Just curious as to what TOTA DJ's prefer.
Im in the market for a new mixer, as my xone:32 is worn out, and I figure ill just toss it to a buddy and pick up something new.
Im 99% sure im going to get a xone:92, as I dont really use effects, and in the past, ive felt that the A&H stuff is a little more bombproof than the pioneer stuff.
What do you guys use?

xone92 ftw
i'm going to cry if i'm ever forced to part with my xone
in reality though, i don't think there isn't much difference, esp at home setting. though i feel xone to be way more responsive than a djm |

I personally enjoy DJM's :) For me, I find the filters on DJM's pretty great and I find the effects add a certain personal flavour to the mixes (not overdone obviously :P)
Talking about the 800 though |

This might sound weird but ive often found that the sound quality on the xone's leads to beatmatch errors being more apparent. On a DJM i feel as if its compensating somewhat.. either the high end frequencies are mmuddled to some degree or maybe some sort of digital compensation. |

I miss my Xone, the sound quality of most other mixers I've tried just doesn't compare.. |

Totally agree on both accounts. I love having the 4 band EQ and the huge travel on the faders. |

Exactly why I love my Xone92. Plus the filters are magnificent, and you can do some funky with LFOs as well. |

I put some time on the xone 62, and loved the 4band eq.. takes a little while to get used to having the 4th knob i found.
Theres alot more xones than i would have imagined. I figured most peeps were on the pioneer stuff. |
