Houston House Music Situation

| Hey I'm about to move to Houston, And i'm wondering whats the situation with house music? Only Deep house or Tech-house not electronic or trance.. Can you guys tell me what places to check out etc.. |

I'm a huge EDM fan, moved to Houston just 2 months ago.
I usually go to Stereo Live when they have special events.
ATB, Calvin Harris & Avicii next month.
There's a bar cal Hudsons, they usually play good house-minimal music Friday nights'
If you hear about other places, please let me know

Royal Oak Sunday afternoons. There are usually a few other things during the week, as far as locals go. Usually something at Rekliner, Celtic Gardens, or the Fairview on Saturdays.
You won't see many huge names go through here, but the local guys (Chris, Henry, Sasha, etc.) are good, and bring in some good talent from time to time, even if not so well known.
Avoid Stereo Live like the plague. |
