For those of you who don't know who Araab Muzik is I strongly suggest checking out some of his videos on Youtube (there are tons). Essentially, he's considered by many to be the most skilled MPC player in the world; and he travels all over the globe performing. He's been producing and playing hip hop beats for a while now (he produces for Dipset). But to my surprise he's also started creating Dubstep on-the-fly! I'm not posting this to start a discussion on the likeability of Dubstep. Rather, I'm posting this simply because I think Araab is incredibly skilled and I'd like to share this new video with TOTA and get your thoughts on it :)

Blokes like these are essentially exceptionally talented percussionists, working with samples instead of an actual drum kit. Always impressive to see such quick fingers, though my musical leanings put me more in the camp of fans of people like Jeremy Ellis. Already posted this in another thread, but it's worth a repeat:
Love the little hand reversal around 1:10. :D
Blue Neptune
a bit off topic but he samples trance music on his Electronic Dreams album.
Does anyone know what track he sampled for this tune?
Nicolas Oliver
Yeah, from the tracks I've heard, I'm really not a fan of that album...

Question - why do Junglists, Dubsteppers and the like always look so angry when they're hammering out beats?
"I MUST WIN BY POUNDING THIS MACHINE INTO SUBMISSION YAAAAAAAGH!!!" ;)

These videos are ultimately to blame for me buying an MPC in the near future.
So fresh.
