I'll be in the city as well, though I haven't decided what I'm doing exactly. Most likely the blkmarket party. The Verboten party looks cool too but I don't think it'll go much later which is my only real concern.
As of now I'm thinking that at night I'll celebrate with some close friends and then a couple of us will head into the city for the blkmarket party as a sort of afterhours. Maybe show up around 2 or 3 or 4... |
The Verboten party looks awesome, but I don't think I can convince my friends to go to that, so it looks like we'll be getting tickets for an all night/open bar place in the Meatpacking District. |

That sounds...expensive. Although I'm sure you'll have a good time haha. I remember a few years back I saw PVD in NYC for new years and that ended at around 4 or 5. Maybe a bit later even. We headed over to this bar in the meatpacking for the next 3 hours (can't remember the name of the place but I've been there a handful of times since. it's right across from the gansevoort).
Anyway, come late night/early morning you're gonna be wishing you were dancing somewhere (perhaps). Consider checking out the blkmarket party! It's cheaper than the Verboten party (so I had no trouble convincing my friends that were on the fence). I'm almost glad that there's nothing quite as appealing to me this year as PVD had been. Those tix were at least 100 bucks so I ended up going with a group of 6 or 7 whereas this year we'll have a few more friends draggin' along most likely :D |
