Put down some items you are getting for others, or post questions and recommendations.

I'll start. What I got for myself so far:

Arduino Inventer's Kit($100):

The Arduino Inventor's Kit is a box of goodies to get the very beginner (and future inventors!) started with programmable electronics. It includes all the bits you need to build 11 basic circuits, no soldering required! On top of that, we've joined forces with Oomlout to offer a small booklet to get you started. The AIK comes with everything pictured and a 32 page color printed 'starter' guide.

Whiskey Stones ($20)

These little ice-imitators are specially designed to put a slight chill in your Whiskey. All you do is put them in the freezer for a few hours and then pop a couple into a glass of single malt. Once you're done, rinse, dry and do it all over again! And no need to worry about a watery drink, because these stones don't dilute (that’s the best part).

You want an arduino? I just finished playing with one... i find it tough writing the codes and getting things to work.

they can be really fun though if your into that techy geek stuff lol.

You can also check out activ-surplus on queen as well for that stuff.

I want a Go pro hero 2 outdoor camera (so i can take vids/pics while scuba diving in Cabo)

Ladies any good recommendations on PJ or lingerie stores? The quality of stuff at Victoria Secret blows.

Wife and I have no money this Christmas, and are kind of fed up with watching people around us stress and drive themselves further into debt buying things for themselves and others that they don't really need. We donated a portion of our year-end, change-jar tally to Kiva, which is a wonderful organisation that provides microloans to small businesses in developing countries.

I despise La Vien Rose.

The Bay (especially their flagship store) has a lot of really nice pjs and lingerie. If you are looking for something special, less Victoria Secret generic youll have to go to try a few lingerie boutiques.
