Nice, thanks for posting. He mentions for Involver that they bounced everything off to Protools. I wonder if he's still doing that, as he appears to have his entire final fx chain straight on the Master channel in ableton now.

Jokes on everyone that said Ableton sucks. Now Ableton's the premiere DAW in sound quality and everyone has their head between their legs! LMAO

Seriously, by now you still don't understand that the person behind the DAW makes the difference
and not a DAW, some plugin or whatever? Also...workflow, man.

And please define 'premiere DAW in sound quality'.
Have you tested all of them out there and done a bit-for-bit comparison between their summing and sound-engines?
Do you really (I mean REALLY) hear any difference between e.g. Logic and Live, using the exact same plugins and samples?
Even IF you can, the people on the dance floor wouldn't give a rat's ass.

This is the same as people saying they can hear a distinct difference between WAV and 320kbps MP3's.
I believe there might be some who can, but 95% of them claiming they can are just fooling themselves.

Back on topic: Barry has done some lovely stuff, as mentioned his part on Involver and tracks like Aira Force which to date is still a belter.
Gonna see if I can track back that article which cryophonik I believe
posted some years back about Sasha and Jamieson about their setup for Involver.

If you compare them side by side, they are the same. But when you mix all of Live's instruments and effects just right you get songs like this:

Amazing!!!:eyes:

Wow! You're right! I don't know what I was thinking earlier.
Might be time to dive a bit deeper into Live.

I'm teasing.

I have the parts to Aira Force given to me by one of the artists in Arrakis. I just might have to did those up now that you reminded me by saying that.
