Yeahhh beatport mislabels plenty and I think they're overeager on tech house because it's a trending genre right now, so it sells well because people search there a lot. |

| Genres are important. I used to go out to raves that were just "dance music", but I'm not a teenager anymore and I know pretty well what styles I like and what I don't like. The problem (like in anything) is taking them too far. I think some of the titles are hilarious, and love hearing new ones, even more sometimes than the music they label. |

| genres are pretty hard to decipher now a days, but if there's any genre you should learn to tell apart from the rest, it's progno. |
