yea not bad meng (listening to the first); decent atmosphere, nice melody, vocals - the drums need more compression and layering, sounds a bit tinny, toy-y - could just be the quality of mp3 though.. safe to say a bit more compression would be welcomed.
Not as much a fan of the second tune, kinda sounds like a trance track with some half-step - needs more life in the baseline, more sub, a little oscillation perhaps? it's a matter of being accustomed to the feel of the genre I guess - your trance experience shines through here :p
I've produced dnb for about 10 years and these being my thoughts
good work all around though sir

Just what I needed, thanks. I enjoy listening to DNB and when a track I really like comes on it hits nice and hard, just the way I like it. I am however, a house/trance producer, so that's of course by far what I listen to mostly. I should probably A&B a little more for this kind of track. I totally get what you mean about the sub oscilator though. The bassline although nice, doesn't cut through for the bottom end the way a typical DNB track will. I'm happy to report this style of music is pretty fun to work on so I'm going to keep trying. :)
