Outside of the controversy with Monsanto, I'm not all that familiar with their arguments, either. The documentary talks about a strain of genetically modified corn that is/was "infesting" corn fields in Mexico. Apparently it acts like an invasive species and was interfering with the cultivation of other kinds of corn. I don't buy the argument that, because a product is genetically modified, that it's "bad" for human consumption. Something engineered to be an invasive species and maintain a market monopoly, enforced through the use of patent law, is a different story. |

LOL!! Yea, Most of the time.. But I really, really, really, enjoy their Black Angus Beacon Cheeseburger.. It's diarrhea free, probably because they cook the patties fresh to order.. They're a little more expensive @ $3.99 a sandwich but they're delicious.. The only thing left I order off their menu.... |
