nothing worth mentioning a few mixes in the dj forum were very good, finally got to see Trevor Moontribe spin. Not from LA but went to Circus a couple of times. Still catching up on old djs and producers. Havn't had any chage in music preferences (no due to the overwhelming grief about the current state of trance or whatever they 're calling EDM). God knows I would'nt want to be a dj in these times. I am in favor of djs who play old school trance. I would support them if there were any but not much of that here or out there atleast.
Not so much that I'm getting bored of the current state or whatever it is they're I'm calling it. Just hadn't had the right kind of exposure to it I guess. With the way djs and their get flamed around here it seems obvious that trance should be my favorite. And since I don't go out much anyways whats the harm in listening to what I want. I'm not looking for popularity points.

On a progressive/tech/house tip, Lonya has really been doing it for me in 2011:
On a more Techno tip, I'd say Bleak has really come out on
top for me this year:
And finally, on a more classic deep house note, two producers who really impressed me this year are Moomin and Nick Anthony Simoncino, especially noted for the excellent Warrior Dance 4-part series:
