Nachimuthu not only won the winner's prize of RM50,400 at the Kinrara Golf Course in Puchong but also the PGM's inaugural Order of Merit with RM159,166.50.
"This is my biggest pay cheque since I turned pro and I would like to thank Tun Ahmad Sarji for starting the PGM," said Nachimuthu.
He made birdies at the second, third, seventh, 10th, 14th and 15th against bogeys at the eighth, ninth and the 18th.
"I never thought about winning any of these at the start of the tournament. I just went out and played my normal game," said Nachimuthu, 40, who had won the PGM Penang Classic and the Terengganu Masters this year.
Overnight leader Shaaban Hussin finished second with 276, carding a 74 yesterday.
"When Shaaban bogeyed the 12th and double bogeyed the 13th, I thought this could be my lucky day," added Nachimuthu.
