I remember doing the double-header Stereo NYE before.
Think I was at the club 2 or 3 times - thank god for in & out privileges.
Nearly closed it out on the second day - by time I left I think there was maybe only 15 or 20 people left dancing.
Fun times, don't think I'd have the stamina for that anymore.

i agree with everyone who said it's over rated to be at a club for nye
you're surrounded by clueless people who are just looking to get stupid drunk, the bar is wayyyy to crowded since everyone is drinking, ty service, overpriced etc etc etc
i sleep in new years eve and go out for afterhour's new years day for a full day of music while all the kiddies are back home makeing out with their toilet's

i will be going to this...
avicii and all his bull friends will be there beforehand for nye
but once 5am comes it's nyc afterhour's...past 4 or 5 years calderone has been doing 10-12 hour set's for new years but this year he's probly only gonna do 6 or 7 hour's since they gotta set up for a bull benny bennassi party later on that night
yea new years day has always been big in nyc
this year we got steve lawler at D36...but it's not really afterhours he goes on at 1:30am i think so who know's how late he will go
then there's a blk market party with some techno guys

very very underground party, they didnt even announce the location yet probly gonna be some warehouse in brooklyn and will go all day

Yeah, totally agree. My closest friends and I are doing a private house party thingy, to ring in the new years without the hassle.
Will be fun times :) Not sure what I'm doing NYD though. CZ is a hefty price for a uni student atm :p

Every year, doll. My proof is Ay Star texting me at 8am, 11am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm every year with the updates while I nurse my hangover from my non-clubbing event :stongue: :stongue:
That being said: I'm another to avoid the clubs on NYE. Way too much hassle with the crowds n . This year a friend of ours rented out a lounge on the Upper West Side and has graciously paid for 150 of his closest friends to have open bar for 4 hours :) Gotta love him! <3 <3
