I or someone else usually posts something about upcoming resolutions. Always makes for good discussion when bored at work. I'll start
The Usual:
- Quit smoking
- Get in Shape
- Save $$$
Something really considering this year:
- Travel - this past year was quite boring. Only went to Vegas once this year. Hoping for Playa del Carmen in summer, Burning Man and possibly Thailand towards the end of the year.
- Convert to those e/cigarettes - ... might as well try em out. I hear they've helped some people cope. |

heres last years thread so everyone who posted can see if they followed thru.
i tried to keep the traveling down, but wound up at the expense of sf only 2 visits :( a bit more LA than i'd like and just the right amount of SD and Vegas(4 trips each)
did start to increase the amount of running, and did check out some gyms in november, ready to become a member in 2012.
so with 6 months before memorial day weekend
to transform 15 pounds of fat into muscle- competition with vet26 to make it more interesting. |

I smoked for 7 years and wanted to quit. I just started to use those and after about a month, I had no need for the e-cig and just quit cold turkey. I think the e-cig is the perfect crutch to help you quit. Even nowadays I can't smoke when I'm drunk or else I'll vomit. I quit September 2011 and have no intention of ever returning |

That's good!!!!
My grandpa quit smoking a few years back. Years later, he was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Luckily his cancer was the curable type, so he's cured now. He's one of the very few lucky ones. However, he had to pay a high price - he lost one of his vocal chords.

I'm 1/2 from last year lol.
Didn't finish school, but I lost weight but then gained it.
:wtf:
This time loose weight, and keep it off for at least a year haha
Anyone have a 24hr fitness hook up? We have a gym at my work but if I stay after work I will be stuck in 3x's as much traffic then when I get off :/ |
