The problem with trying to covertly undermine someone's credibility is that well, it isn't going to work when that person knows more about music than you could possibly learn in 4 lifetimes. You do not have even the most basic tenants of say the concept of aesthetics to be able to describe why the above track is bad. Pretty sure there was a slow beat , you associated it with dubstep, your scenester radar went red, and that made your mind up. What I do know is that project where budgets are in the millions seem to think that what i do is good taste. Not that aesthetics and what is good or not can be empirically proven but i think say that sort of endorsement carries a little more weight than some struggling EDM artist who clearly has issues with genres touting his opinion like it is scripture.
I like the track. I am more skilled on a exponential level in every ing domain of music you could imagine, and then some. And i actually do make music, that people pay for. A living. A good living. The kind of living heads like you wish they could make. So sure, an opinion is an opinion. But where as you are say a high school drop out giving his say on first order derivatives, i am rocket scientist who actually has a leg to stand on giving an opinion formed by expertise , and professional experience.
