Young producer have got a question to more experienced :) I want to know hot to do a driving bassline. Something like Renoise(Vertruda) basslines.
Perfect example for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCPlcjRNaqw , maybe Wellenrausch tracks have the same.
And guys: I don't want to copy the Vertruda track, I only want to know how to do it(Sylenth1 will be the best). I tried, but every time my driving bassline are to big, too saw. Something more driving and not annoying is my "dream" :) I'm looking for kind help!

Use any synth and the following settings
Waveform 1: Noise
Waveform 2: Sine
Filtertype: HP
Freq: 1000 hz
Resonance: 100%
I'm sorry... there are too many similar type of topics like this out there.

noise? sounds like a saw to me, and im pretty sure you mean LP at 1000k
its a basic saw wave filtered/detuned. work on your sidechain release, that plays a big part in driving bassline. work on other elements too, percussion and melody |

i think the resonance at 100% was a give away. HP as well but i sometimes have brain farts and use the wrong term. |
