| Severe depression? You mean drug withdrawals |
|
|
| trojans14 |
I bought IPO stock lol. The prices will only go up and you know people will pay ridiculous amounts of money to see Avicii, SHM, Afrojack, etc. A bunch of my friends are in LA and they want to go. I might go because it'll be a good time with friends I haven't seen in awhile at the very least. They might not have my favorite music, but I'm sure I can drag my friends to several DJs there that I could enjoy. They only know the big name djs anyway.
Now if they bring some techno djs and have a dedicated techno stage that would make me definitely want to go. Like someone mentioned earlier, Insomniac is bringing techno DJs to the US, like Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg in LA soon, and they had Umek, Green Velvet, and Ritchie Hawtin last year at EDC.
But what I really want to do is sell my ticket and go to DEMF. It's definitely the cheaper option by far. I don't know any friends that want to go though. I only have one friend into techno, and its kind of hard to convince other people to go to Detroit...Time to indoctrinate some people to love techno! :whip: |

(the following isn't directed at you specifically, Nerologic)
almost all drug withdrawals cause depression (because of this part of your brain)
I know you're talking about the crash from MDMA (although more commonly the "crash" from ecstasy, is due more to the stimulants or other drugs contained and not the MDMA itself) as the source of the "depression". (deamau5 is a pretty big "troll" just FYI, so he could just be making all this up for attention, which wouldnt be a first for him, anyways...)
I don't think drugs are something to around with without being fully educated on them. It's important to understand their full effects, especially if you are using these substances, which is really only dangerous if you don't understand what they do and why, etc. Especially important is to understand how much is safe, and how much is going to you up for an entire week, tolerance levels and buildup time, etc etc etc (lol idiots taking 6+ pills)
Just a PSA to all the lurkers/inexperienced drug users: please read erowid.org at a bare minimum, it doesn't take more then a couple minutes to read all about that crazy new RC 25i-NOMbe/2C-*/MXE/ ur about to digest. be safe TAs
Drugs are illegal largely because of politics, but the continued prohibition is not helped by irresponsible users who end up hurting themselves (or others)
anyways, i hope they bring umek |
