Hey guys,

A lot of the cd's I have are dated and many of the compilation discs have a lot of old songs as well. Im wondering if anyone can recommend some absolute "must have" trance albums that can help me learn and progress in this genre. Preferably something that was released over the last year or so. Nothing wrong with good compilation discs either, as long as they're somewhat current.

thanks!

Trance only, or would you take any good electronic music?

as far as trance artists albums go, i'd have to say i think Eco's sound of youth is the most entertaining/unique this year

If you're a Kaskade fan, "Fire & Ice" is excellent IMO.

I would recommend Music For Real Airports by The Black Dog.

It was actually a 2010 release, about a year and a half ago, but I still listen to it quite a lot.

done by a tranceaddict, definetly worth checking out, most of it is progressive edged has a few downtempo tunes, but its trance nevertheless. also i think oakie's compilation never mind bollocks compilation was pretty good, but i havent really heard it other then a few tracks.

enjoy.
