| Its frustrating to see good (in my opinion)venue go waste a set at the red light. This place is sub standard for its sound system. You cant even ear properly the tracks...its just shameful. Me and a couple friend will go to Ottawa in order to see above in a better room. I'm bitching because I know that I'm not the only one who finds the red light sound system is the the worse in the greater mtl region. For sakes, fix it OR let the other after-hours do the booking with the big names. |

This is what I posted on the FB wall of above and beyond:
Guys, when I learn that you choose the red lite for your Montreal event, I was very disappointed. Worse part is, I’m from Montreal. The sound system at the red lite is so bad that you can't even hear the track properly. This usually happens when the headliner cranks up the volume. The bass gets too loud and kills the other frequency. Please be careful on Friday and don’t let this average sound system waste your talent.
-A dedicated fan (I traveled to see you performed in Buffalo, New York, Miami, Los Angeles and at the Bal en Blanc in Montreal...so far)

Sound system has changed since December. It's all new and much better. |
