Description
After a solid Volume 6 which took place the weekend before Christmas, the Zero Percent crew returns in short order for Volume 7 to get another one in under our belt before we bring it to the next level for Volume 8.
For Volume 7, "the East-end location, again?" you say? Hell yes! If you were there you would understand that In Private Studio We Trust. It provided ample room to dance, great acoustics, a huge chill out & bar area (complete with piano, crayons, markers, and lots to write on!), ample parking, and the undeniable convenience of subway access located across the street at the Main Street TTC station (15 min east of Bloor & Yonge!). Even the trip home was a breeze as the location is well-served by the 24-hour Bloor-Danforth bus and loads of taxis. Of course, there were all the others perks you get from going private on the venue: killer custom sound rig that blows away most clubs, no stray d-bags from nearby bars, clean washrooms, friendly security... all in all an environment for music lovers organized by a crew made up of the same.
As Zero Percent works to provide a platform for a steady rotation of up and coming Toronto DJs by putting them in front hundreds of music lovers at a time, we are bringing back most of our amazing talent from the last event (plus some new names) to give them the audience they deserve and to once more hear the harder-edge music we love and were so blessed with at Volume 6. With the holidays long past and the darkness of winter clutching everyone in its frigid grasp, what better way to warm up then to move to to a more relentless style of Techno/Minimal/Deep House/Tech-House that we expect will have your feet praying for frostbite instead?
