marquee vegas? what happened?

i remember....
i remember....
when there would be like 61 people posting 183 threads about vegas events, and it was pretty annoying. but now there are no posts? what happened?
i thought giant,spundae and eventvibe were working with marquee?
or are they simply an outlet to purchase tickets so that each of the 3 above can generate more revenue via their subscriber base?
for those of you that have to buy tickets to go to marquee, G website does give out $5 off on friday tickets and S website tends to sell the saturday night tickets at $30 to start instead of $50.

looking forward to my return to vegas presidents day weekend, Benny B at marquee saturday feb 18th should be fun. |

| i really like marquee, i think it's a great venue. im seeing kaskade there for my 3rd time - couldn't be more excited. i just think it caters to the "pop" crowd which gets a lot of hate here so i dont post every time i go. |

| heres the schedule: kaskade/ec twins/afrojack/chuckie. Im sure on Memorial day and Labor day they wil get some big acts like AVB but usually count on those guys being there |

all the djs that can draw have residencies in vegas...
if you can't draw you're not playing vegas and likely stuck playing small venues they would never have envisioned being forced to play like sasha at sutra a couple months back and at voyeur in march. |

Just because Zee/Wynn has him doesn't mean Sol can't get him to play at Marquee. It's just that Marquee would have to drop some decent $$$, which makes it not worth the investment on him.
This is something that Insom had to do in order to pull off EDC there. Contracts end, new ones get signed etc etc. |

Zee wynn, you french now :D
He's not worth the investment period. Needs to step it up this year...that greatest hits album will not fly with educated edm listeners.
