How do you do a video tutorial in ableton on pc?

Download a screen recorder, and record yourself talking about what you are doing while the recorder captures your actions for the tutorial. That is assuming you want narration.

You could try MS Expression Encoder, they removed the 10min limit from the free version.

Mine are made on Camstudio, free software.

Camstudio works ok. but i've never made it work with voice as well. Same with Camtasia Studio 7 (which I prefer but it's expensive).

The issue seems to be getting the screen recording software to fully recognise ASIO drivers.

My workaround was to record system audio with ASIO4all and point the screen recorder to the stereo out of my PC, and then record voice with my ASIO interface into something like Audacity and just splice them together again afterwards. That's easy in Camtasia as it has a simple timeline video editing suite included, which also allows you to custom edit zooms, fades and captions afterwards.
