National Underground is a no-frills type of place. It's a stripped-down dark room, has nice sound system, and cheap drinks. It's small, but perfect for this party.

for all asking about the venue...
it's small, and wonderful. low ceiling, cheap drinks (albeit one small bar), good sound system and even better crowd (us).

Really great party, lots of familiar faces and a great overall vibe. Was there from opening til 1am'ish. All of the dj's that I heard played exceptionally well. Track selection / mixing / flow was perfect. Would definitely go back if they decided to do it again.
