hi anthony,
i really liked your track, it was well put together and the arrangement worked nicely. However in my opinion, the sounds are really hurting the track. They get across the point, but are missing the extra special sauce. Its impossible to try and be more constructive I'm afraid because this is part of the black magic of production, but I think you could absolutely make this track come alive by just working on the sounds being "special".
hope that helps, and thanks for sharing. :) |

Really not a fan of that kick, sounds like water dripping from a tap.
As the track progresses it kinda gets lost.
Plucks are nice, but i'd make a new pad.
Good vibe in this track thou ;) |

Well...
I found this kick and just later I noticed it was synhetized in analog (ableton plugin), not a real sample, I tried tweak it but its not 100% like I would like it to be, but I thought "I will not change it now..." Maybe I was a bit stubborn, hehe...
I prefer real samples, I'm not good synthesizing kick presets, I assume...
Wave Alchemy for quality samples I recommend...
Ah, thanks for the feedback... :) |

| If you like the kicks "character" then try and layer a more bottom heavy kick with it. But personally I think you cant go past kicks from good sample packs, like the Riemann packs. |

Thanks for the tip, sometimes we forget that layering can give good results...
Riemann 9 Popof is good... ;) |
