I was playing these two chords: G minor and C minor and I got some inspiration to produce this track. I was lazy to finish this project but now is done. Feedbacks are welcome! However in my opinion, the sounds are really hurting the track. They get across the point, but are missing the extra special sauce. Its impossible to try and be more constructive I'm afraid because this is part of the black magic of production, but I think you could absolutely make this track come alive by just working on the sounds being "special". hope that helps, and thanks for sharing. :) PlasticSoul @stewart.m thanks, link fixed! @richard_dekkard you mean, the sound selection uh? I found this kick and just later I noticed it was synhetized in analog (ableton plugin), not a real sample, I tried tweak it but its not 100% like I would like it to be, but I thought "I will not change it now..." Maybe I was a bit stubborn, hehe... I prefer real samples, I'm not good synthesizing kick presets, I assume... Wave Alchemy for quality samples I recommend... Ah, thanks for the feedback... :) Julz If you like the kicks "character" then try and layer a more bottom heavy kick with it. But personally I think you cant go past kicks from good sample packs, like the Riemann packs.
