My first time at BPM, and it's safe to say ill be attending on an annual basis going forward. Very well attended and organized, amazing venues, and great parties / lineups. I've got plenty of uploading to do, will post them here.
Best Parties:
1.) No.19 Label Showcase @ Canibal Royal
2.) Hot Creations Vs. Crosstown Rebels @ Mamita's
3.) My Favorite Robot Label Showcase @ Canibal Royal
Best Sets:
1.) Art Department @ Canibal Royal
2.) Lee Foss @ La Santanera
3.) Tato Cado @ La Santanera
The only thing I could point out that could have been better was the cave party. The venue was so dope, and it had loads of potential - but it lacked speakers, space, and ventilation / fans. We left before Jamie Jones even came on. Day parties were by far the most enjoyable. Mamita's and Canibal Royal were amazing spots - with FANTASTIC eats. More to come later...

This was the party we hit when we just arrived from a long flight and near death experience on the Cozumel ferry (lol) -- if this had been on any other day it would have been up there for sure. Pillow talk live set was killer

i have a feeling you missed BLS's set as he was opening, he was playing such mad dope and ing interesting music, i havent heard anything like this in a long time.. then it was frank & tony (frank is adultnapper btw lol) then pillowtalk and thugf*cker (both were amazing too)
you can see from the interview frank & tony, how they praised BLS set. i saw them smiling the whole time i was there during his set.
"We heard about your “showcase”, can you tell us something about it, hoping to see it in Italy?
Well like in every showcase we come with 2 or 3 artist from the label, and all night spread our vibe. We just did one at BPM Festival which was amazing, Frank & Tony did dj set, and Black light smoke who is really incredible he blew my mind."

Your stream of fb updates certainly had me kicking myself for no going.

Heard so many good things about this party, glad to see our Toronto boys holding it down properly.

Possibly "#1 vibe" goes to this jam. It was at least half Toronto peeps, full of positive energy and the lineup was pure quality. When MFR stepped up, place was electric and the sun had set - party went into second gear. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip for sure.

You're just lucky I didn't have a good data plan. LOL. Most updates had to wait until we got back to the penthouse... :P

pretty incredible vibe down here, a mini Ibiza or Miami but with more beach-centric events and far less commercialism, less costs. Having the Caribbean Ocean as a backdrop doesn't hurt either.. and because this event is during winter, I think the promoters have struck a gold mine that hopefully doesn't get too too big, but too many good things are in place right now for it not to be.
For you Montrealers, I would describe the crowd as very Stereo and Piknic like but with tinges of Beach Club too, so you see everything down here. But keep in mind the event is an international one, in a Latin American country so it is also a very worldly mix of ppl as well.
I saw Lawler and Burridge on Tues, they both brought it big time, both also sprinkling some latin flavour in their sets for appropriate measure. Also caught some Carlo Lio and Dubfire but missed out on Guy Gerber. Digweed was AMAZING on the beach and tonight it is Lee Foss, Richie Hawtin and Dirty South at different venues. I'll write something a little more indepth when I catch up on some sleep.
wrote this last week at the condo, while scrambling for tp due to hot tacos and warm beer. Moarrrr this wknd
