If you remember Fusion F and Come T's last contribution to Nueva ("Begin Now"), this original is no less a progressive masterpiece, and we don't throw those praises out lightly. "Blue River" infuses an early night sound with a melodic Ibiza undertone. Then the soft wood tones take over making this one of the grooviest Nueva releases in recent memory. What kills us is the melancholic melody added later and then again when everything seamlessly congregates in one grand epicenter of music! How do you introduce this next artist without doing him justice? When you can say Jody Wistenoff is involved with anything, from in person to the productions, to his live sets...count yourself lucky! Nueva is extremely proud to be involved with such a class act as he gives "Blue River" his best "Cold Drink, Hot Girl" treatment and creates an instant classic. One of the U.S.'s best exports, Darin Epsilon continues to raise the bar for himself as he produces another fine peice of music for Nueva. His remix is decidedly more 3am than 11pm and we quite like that, making this a superb track through and through! If you can beleive it, Nueva is proud to debut another legend in his own right and personal progressive hero of ours in Canadian Luke Fair. Taking "Blue River" into deep house territory he churns out a percussion adventure with fantastically well placed string stabs giving this release truly something for everyone!
