my balls hurt

I think my laptop is giving me ball cancer.

Is there any truth to this myth?

I have a bad habit of using my laptop in bed and laying it on my LAP.

The lack of sperm my balls are producing because of the laptop's warmth is beside the point. Procreation is not a priority, the welfare of my balls is.

What about waves found in cell phones and microwaves? Are they more dangerous than in Peahi?

I try to avoid using my phone for calls or the microwave as much as I can.

Is this technology bad for our brains? Or in this case, my balls?

I want some scientific answers god dammit.

No. It's the same myth as cell phones giving you brain cancer and . The kinds of waves given off from those kinds of devices have a negligible effect on your body. The only thing on a laptop sitting on your lap that could damage your balls is heat, and I don't think that would really cause lasting pain.

Go see a doctor. Or I'm sure Jennie could feel your nuts for you :gsmile:

The EMR generated by a laptop would do absolutely nothing to cause cancer. End of story.

It's not bad for the brains, it's not bad for the balls. The only thing that's bad for your brains and your balls, is you.

Excessive heat to the testes are actually pretty hazardous, at least long term, and we all know laptops get insanely hot.

Get one of these:

There are loads of brands and models on the market and theyre cheap as hell. Dropped my acpi temp (wherever that is measured) from 74 to 58-62 degrees celsius.

Yea, but what about in the long run?

How do we know what the effects of such products are after 10, 20, or 30 years of long and extensive use?

In other news, gas prices are forecasted to be more than $5 per gallon in the summer. Couple that with the presidential election and 2012 end-of-world hype, I'm sure we have some great things to look forward to here in the Unites States of America.

Through science, math and engineering, you ing tool.

As mentioned previously, the actual EMR generated won't directly cause anything. However, the heat as mention by alfi is something to watch out for, but let's be honest, all you need is a bit of common sense in this regard. If your laptop gets to hot, you take it off your lap. It's not rocket science.
