Let any one of you who is without cliché be the first to cast a stone at these human shaped bots! I reckon this both states my point AND doubles as what Jesus would say to annoy PKC :p

Yes, the first video is a lot like what I saw. Only without that irksome "hmmmm?" punctuating every sentence. Veeery cult-leader-like, though with a definitive "mystic" vibe. He shares a lot of the same patterns of speech with the St. Germain character without having as much of a sedative/hypnotic quality, though. It's there, just not as apparent.

lots of those types coming out of the woodwork. They target the naive young women.

Not surprising, really, given the time. They love college towns almost as much as pedos love day-care centers. Lots of vulnerable, insecure, unsure, and young individuals for the undifferentiated ego-mass to recruit and demand conformity from.

it is much better to jerk off than to jerk on, because if you jerk on you get a sticky belly.

Depending on the situation and if you have the cojones just openly and honestly say how his mode of speech is manipulative and similar to the Heaven's Gate guy (even though it might not that's probably recent enough for most people to remember and trigger a bit of an eye opening response) Just don't exhibit any hostility because it's a sign of intimidation and Guy will probably turn it around and emasculate you in front of the women. Those types are smart and they are keen to how people are really feeling even if you do your best to mask it. In all seriousness though that guy and any person naive enough to fall for the BS is probably not worth your protection

Yeah. The more I think about it, the more I'm convincing myself to ditch this quintessential warrior-poet. And that's no joke. I'm 90% certain that is how he thinks of himself. Apparently he's a Vietnam vet, too. The fact is that this is something that was bugging me enough to bring it to the COR (even though I did it firmly in jest). I rarely talk about RL issues but this guy, even if he's harmless, gives me the willies.

Not true! In high school, I once picked up this fat kid who I should never have tried to pick up in the first place. Once I realized I couldn't hold on to him, I had a choice between either falling forward and flat on my face or just dropping the guy because I didn't have the strength to place him down. Nevertheless, I did the right thing.
The next day I had to stand outside the principals office all day because the boy's mother complained that he went into a state of shock after suffering ass trauma or something.

At the risk of pedantry, you probably mean platitudes rather than clichés.
