hey da, i mean giant events.

i wouldnt keep asking but one of the guys who works for giant told me a certain artist was returning "next month" and so this would have been for march and all the avalon march bookings are full(unless double headliner with sander van doorn) and so i'm not sure how march will work especially since the yost no longer has any listings on the giant website for fridays even though said employee told me some "longstanding legends" would be playing on fridays in march.
and so either i was lied to by said giant employee which will remain nameless or perhaps the booking was for april? i just can't imagine a giant employee lying... say it ain't so!
also since according to some LA = OC
and this dyslexic car aficionado is playing at yost thursday and avalon wednesday, thus same artist in same city back to back nights, would that be considered "recycling talent" as a wise man once said? |

Nope, I only said that it's what I heard. Aren't you close friends with him or his manager anyways? Ask them because they would know better. :tongue3
I get to throw in my two cents for the bookings in OC but don't get final say. So I won't know unless it's confirmed.
As far as upcoming events what we have confirmed is Hard Rock Sofa / Angger Dimas next week, Michael Woods on the 29th and Tritonal on April 12th.
We'll have more up soon. :) |

i am, and i did...
you being an employee of the promoter i would think you would know how things run...
"im not in the business"
but i know that the dj doesnt hit the promoter up and demand to play on the 4th full moon of the year, or the 5th friday in february on a leap year.(well maybe an international headlining longstanding house legend since those are few and far between). so until the PROMOTER books the dj, the dj does not have confirmation of a gig.
since we had a cordial exchange, i in good faith took what you wrote to be factual and true. you pulled the rug right under me...:mad: |

Nah I wouldn't have any reason to do that to you.
Like I said bookings are something I chime in on. I hear a lot of possibilities each month and I know you might have been interested in hearing which is why I mentioned.
I would say I'll tell you once I know but as always I'm sure you would know before anyone else :tongue2 |
